Eric has a background in both the utility and software industries. As a program manager at PSE&G he helped manage over $1B in demand side management programs, and within the financial services industry helped companies like Morgan Stanley, Commerzbank, Bank of New York and others build and manage their trading infrastructure. He has a masters degree in Energy Management and Policy from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. When he's not thinking about how software can be used to improve the delivery of clean energy programs, he spends his time in search of music venues and restaurants off the beaten path in New York City.

Jason Kaplan
General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer
Jason Kaplan has extensive experience in the financing and management of renewable energy assets. Previously, Jason was the General Counsel and Head of Policy at United Wind, where he led all legal and advocacy work related to United Wind's distributed wind energy business including corporate governance and lobbying, as well as overseeing $200M+ raised in project and corporate finance from global energy corporates like Statoil, Total, and TEPCO. Jason graduated from Vermont Law School, cum laude with a joint degree in law and masters in environmental law and policy, and Colgate University, cum laude B.A. Geology.
Chris Barrett
Managing Director and Co-Founder
Chris has extensive experience managing software integrations within the energy industry, having previously managed the development of the Victorian Government's carbon abatement certificate trading platform in his native Melbourne, Australia. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Melbourne. He's an avid Hawthorn Hawks supporter, but no one is entirely sure who they are.
Nick Baudouin
Director of Business Development and Co-Founder
Nick heads up business development efforts at PowerMarket after spending time with an Icelandic company doing geothermal and solar project development around the globe. He graduated with his Masters in Energy, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School in London. Although he played professional baseball while living in Ireland, his baseball talents are mediocre at best.
Sam Place
Business Development Manager and Policy Analyst
Sam joined PowerMarket in 2017, focusing on account management, asset management and business development. Prior to working at PowerMarket, Sam was a project development analyst at SunPower where he helped build out SunPower's east coast commercial & industrial solar portfolio. Sam also worked at Solaire Generation, where he specialized in business development and design of solar parking structures in the commercial & industrial solar markets. Sam received his bachelors degree at Columbia University, with a special concentration in Sustainable Development through the Earth Institute.
Mahvish Gilani
Business Operations Analyst
Mahvish supports operations and business development at PowerMarket. Previously, Mahvish was the Director of Finance and Operations at Dvinci Energy where she focused on operations, business development, sales, and finance. Prior to working in clean energy, Mahvish was in the financial industry with a concentration in derivatives pricing and valuations. Mahvish has a Bachelors of Finance from the Rutgers Business School and completed a diploma in Clean Energy from NYU. Mahvish has traveled to over 30 countries but still hasn't found a suitable replacement for home.
Leland Gohl
Director of Customer Experience
Leland is the co-founder of an environmental organization, called DC Doesn't Suck, which advocates for the reduction of single-use plastics. Previously, he was Director of Sales for Ipsun Solar. He also completed a graduate certificate from Harvard University's Sustainability program and holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University. Leland brings years of organizing, sales, and marketing experience to PowerMarket.
Amanda Colombo
Business Operations Analyst
Amanda manages support and operations at PowerMarket. She's a former NCAA Division I athlete with a degree in Political Science and a minor in International Business as well as a masters degree from NYU in Global Affairs with a concentration in Renewable Energy and specialization in Data Analytics. She's always excited to chat about the clean energy transition and or sports, it's up to you!
Patrick Li
Lead Software Engineer
Patrick is an accomplished software developer at PowerMarket. He studied Computer Science at LAGCC and Actuarial Science at Baruch College before finally settling on a Computer System Technology degree from The City College of New York. He enjoys playing video / PC games. After becoming a father he is no longer the core DPS in his WOW guild, but is now a very talented baby sitter of his two young children.
Keena Cody
Customer Support Analyst
Keena helps manage customer inquiries and is a support specialist at PowerMarket. She is very passionate about healthcare and knows that renewable energy has a significant impact in public health. She holds a baccalaureate degree in Health Science and a Masters in Public Administration in Health Services Administration from Columbus State University. Keena loves dancing and enjoys trying to master all of the trending dance moves but she needs a lot of work!

Haris is a full-stack software engineer at PowerMarket. After starting with an associate's degree in Comp. Sci. from LAGCC, he recently finished his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science at Queens College New York. When Haris isn't writing code, he likes to read fictional books and meditate to cancel out the noise of the daily grind.
Kathryn Choi
Business Operations Associate
Kathryn supports business development and policy research and analysis at PowerMarket. Previously, she was a policy research intern at Energy and Environmental Economics (E3) in San Francisco. She is currently completing her BA at New York University, majoring in Public Policy with a focus on Environmental Studies. She grew up in Hong Kong and hopes to one day work on renewable energy at an international scale.
Kishan Sheth

Kishan is a front-end software developer at PowerMarket. He is currently a computer science major at Columbia University, focusing on intelligent systems and human-computer interaction. When he's not coding, you can find him experimenting with photography, videography, and digital art. Or in the office kitchen whipping up a mean PB&J.
Dianne Galay
Customer Support Associate
In 2013, Dianne received her Bachelor's degree in Finance from Essex County College and has studied Technology Management from Staten Island University in 2018. Prior to working at PowerMarket Dianne handled training and development of Customer and Technical support with Altice USA for almost 10 years. With her vast experience she was then promoted to the Corporate Executive Escalations Division where she handled issues with the Attorney General's office, Federal Communications Commission, Public Service Commission and Department of Utilities. In her spare time, Dianne participates in animal rescue programs such as Staten Island Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and NYC food drives for the homeless. Most recently, she traveled back to her hometown of Dorado, Puerto Rico where she volunteered with Habitat For Humanity to assist local communities due to natural disasters.

She recently co-founded an early childhood education startup in NYC, and previously ran launch operations for Arianna Huffington's startup, Thrive Global. Ellen supports the PowerMarket operations team as a graduate intern. Prior to PowerMarket, Ellen was an account manager at an advertising agency in Massachusetts and has always been passionate about sustainability. Today, she studies sustainability management as a master's student at Columbia University's Earth Institute. She also studied communication, business, and environmental and sustainability sciences as an undergraduate student at Cornell University. Ellen is a former Division 1 athlete and loves going on runs around NYC.
Adrian Varga

Adrian comes to Power Market having recently completed a DG feasibility and energy sector study in Haiti with a Caribbean telecom. He was previously an energy policy and data research analyst with Medley Global Advisors, an economic research firm. He recently completed a Master's degree in Energy Policy from NYU. When he's not nerding out on all things energy, he's hunting for spicy food, playing music, or looking for hidden corners of the city on his bike.
Andie Wang

Andie supports operational billing, transaction, and financial reporting to maximize the financial performance of clients' assets. Before PowerMarket, Andie studied finance and environmental sciences at Columbia University and was awarded Davis Fellowship for her corporate sustainability research. She completed her bachelor's with honors from the University of Virginia in 2 years, studying economics, business, and climate. Andie once placed 25th in a 26 participant singing competition, but we've heard her voice on her ringtone and it's 1st place material as far as we're concerned.
